Stroll around plantations 3-4 hours soft trekking
Follow Yellow is the rule. Trekking path within Blackberry Estate is marked by yellow flags to guide trekkers.
- After breakfast, start from Reception foyer. Walk along Bison Valley Road. Visit a cardamom estate and a coffee estate. Visit a farm house. Walk along the winding pathways of Pallivasal Tea Plantations. Come to Mannan Kudi in the lowest end of the Blackberry Estate. Relax. Take a tribal lunch. Trek back to the comfort of your cottage.
- Check-in to your cottage and put on your trekking shoes. Climb down to Cinnamon shade and walk till you reach Kestrel’s domain. Relax and enjoy a 360° view of natural beauty. Proceed to Mannankudi along our bio-diversity conservation area. Have a tribal lunch. Proceed further down till you reach the road along Pallivasal Tea Plantations. Turn left and walk and turn again left when you reach Bison Valley Road. Enter Blackberry Hills through its front gate.
Village Safari
4-5 hours from Landsend
Start at 9 AM after breakfast. Climb down to Cinnamon shade, Kestrel’s domain and down to Mannankudi. Continue your walk along tea plantations to Attukad Village. Visit those people whom you saw like ants from your balcony. Learn the life in a typical plantation village. Have a darshan at the Ganapathy Kovil enroute. Proceed to Attukad Waterfalls .Come back to Mannankudi for a tribal lunch. Back to the comfort of your cottage.

Mountain Biking
The winding pathways of Munnar are tempting to bike. Our Front Office Manger will arrange you bikes at a nominal rent.
Organic Farming
Blackberry Estate has an extensive farm area being developed as a sustainable organic farm. Spices like cardamom and pepper are planted without disturbing the existing wild trees or other bushes. Purely organic methods are experimented and implemented for pest control and manuring. A variety of fruit plants like orange, plum, tree tomato etc. are planted among trees of natural growth.
Sun tan-No sweat
Munnar has the same tropical sun as the plains and sea shores of kerala. An exposure to Munnar’s sun will improve your complexion without sweat-of course!
